He said that I will probably have to have it looked at again soon. These things are bizarre. It most likely happened when I gave birth to my son. It was traumatic to my body and my pelvis separated. Strange things happen when the human body tries to repair itself. Up to 10% of women have something like this happen when they give birth.
So here's the picture. That sun is centered in the small of my back. It was done on our fourth wedding anniversary six years ago. You can see where the nurse drew around the tumor with a black sharpie. The incision under the tape is about two inches long to give you an idea of actual size.
Shout out to my husband for putting up with my inability to be a good patient. I did sleep a lot yesterday but today I went grocery shopping. It was my intent to go try on bras. I came back an hour later with $130 worth of food. But it was relaxing... grocery shopping without a one year old and a three year old helping? It was nice!
And now, a Vicodin, a Skelaxin, a glass of wine and night night for Mommy.
Thanks for all of your thoughts, prayers and concerns!

Really glad to hear it was benign...and they didn't have to mess up your tatoo in order to remove it.
: )
Ditto.
Happy Dreams.
oh good... sorry for the delayed reply. just glad to hear that you're in the clear. and by now i hope you're feeling back to normal. whatever normal is... unless of course not feeling back to normal means more kid-free shopping in which case maybe i wish that for awhile for you!
Nice Tatt!
Now you'll have a groovy scar to show your grandkids and you can make up some kind of cool story to go along with it.
Glad all went well!
Also sending delayed well wishes for healing and continued enjoyment of those vicodin...
